ALL MAINTENANCE WORK IS CARRIED OUT WHEN THE ENGINE IS STOPPED. ALWAYS DISCON-

SPARK PLUG INSPECTION

1- Check for discoloration and remove the carbon Standart electrode color : Tan

color.

2- Check the spark plug type and gap. Standard spark : BR5ES (NGK).

-Spark plug gap : 0,7 - 0,8 mm.

3- Install the spark plug. Spark plug Torque : 28Nm (2,8 Kgm, 20 lb.pi)

SILENCER

You should periodically remove the Carbon deposits.

1- Remove the muffler protector.

2- Remove the muffler

3- Remove the Carbon deposits using a wire brush and by trapping the muffler

body lightly.

4- Reinstall the muffler.

The engine and mufler will be very hot after the engine has been run. Avoid touching

the engine and muffler while are still hot with any part of your body or clothing during

inspection or repair.

AIR FILTER

1- Remove the air filter cover and element.

2- Wash the element in solvent and dry.

3- Oil teh element and squeeze out excess oil. The element should be wet but not

dripping. recommanded oil : Foam-air-filter oil or SAE 20 motor oil.

4- Insert the element into the air filter .

N.B : Be sure the element sealing surface matches the air filter so there is no air

leak.
