LED DISPLAY
The LED indicates the status of your Smart.Shift system. The
LED can become yellow, green, red and blue and it can emit
different flashing codes. The meaning of the colours and
flashing codes is described below.
● The LED flashes yellow twice briefly during a gear shift.
● The LED lights up continuously green or yellow or red
when the Smart.Shift is in the setting mode (see
"Settings" [p. 29]).
● The LED lights up red if there is a serious fault in the
system:
WARNING
Risk of accident due to serious fault in the Smart.Shift
system.
→ Before further use, consult your dealer to eliminate the
fault.
SETTINGS
On e-bikes, the Pinion Smart.Shift system is adjusted via the
settings on the e-bike display. For further information, see the
instructions of the e-bike manufacturer.
CALIBRATION
The Smart.Shift system takes care of adjusting the gears
itself. Fine adjustment of the shift system is not necessary.
Should calibration nevertheless be necessary, the system
recognises this itself and carries out a calibration. The
