Setting instructions
Winding, time-setting and correction:
The winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) can be placed in
four positions A, B, C and D.
A: Screwed down against the case.
This is the normal position when the watch is being worn and
guarantees its water-resistance.
B: Unscrewed, winding position.
If the watch has not been worn for some time, wind it by rotating
the winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) through several
turns. It is unnecessary to fully wind a watch that is going to be worn.
The winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) will not be locked
at the end of the winding cycle; the mechanism therefore cannot be
damaged.
Then push the crown (I) back to position B and screw it down against
the case in position A to ensure the water-resistance of the watch.
C: Date-setting position (calendar).
When the crown (I) is unscrewed and pulled out to this position,
turning it anti-clockwise allows you to set the date (4).
NOTE: The watch does not automatically account for the number of
days in a month. It will therefore have to to be corrected manually for
months with fewer than 31 days.
Then push the winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) back
to position B and screw it down against the case in position A to
ensure the water-resistance of the watch.

D: Time-setting position.
When unscrewed and pulled out to this position, rotation of the
winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) enables the time to
be set. Turn the winding and time-setting and correction crown (I)
until the hands point to the desired time.
If the time is being set in the afternoon, the hour hand (1) must have
completed more than one full revolution since the last date change
(4) to ensure that the date changes at midnight.
IMPORTANT: Do not pass the time at which the date changes by
turning the hands in the anticlockwise direction.
Then push the winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) back
to position B and screw it down against the case in position A to
ensure the water-resistance of the watch.
Water-resistance
The water-resistance of the watch has been tested at a pressure
of 15 bar.
