Connections and Plug
Tape deck operations can be controlled remotely or at a
preset
time
using
TEAC
accessories
connected
to this
jack. The Dummy
Plug must be removed to provide access
to the socket. The Dummy
Plug must be connected when
those
accessories
are
not
being
used
to
insure
proper
operation of the deck.
@ OUTPUT L and R Jacks
Use the supplied
Input-Output
Connection
Cords to con-
nect the OUTPUT
Jacks to the appropriate jacks on your
stereo
amplifier.
These
are
normally
designated
''tape
monitor', "Tape deck-PLAY"
input, or the "AUX" jacks
may be used.
@ IN/OUT (DIN) Connector
An
optional
cord with
DIN connectors
may
be used for
inter-connecting
the deck with a stereo amplifier using a
single connecting cable. However, when using the DIN cord
inputs,
the recording
levels
are established
by the MIC
Level Controls. This prevents satisfactory mixing of the
microphone and line inputs. If use of the DIN cord restricts
your operation or if the sound quality is poor or distorted,
remove the DIN cord and use the Input-Output Connection
Cords provided in the accessory packet.
