Roof rack basket with rally lights (4.1. - 4.2.)
If you are using a roof rack basket without rally lights,
you can skip steps 4.1. and 4.2.
C
4.1. Insert the magnetic connector (A) in the roof socket (B)
until it locks into place. To switch on the light, press the
switch (C) in the headliner inside the vehicle. You can
find further information on this in the Owner's Manual.
4.2. Press the rally light covers (5) into the recesses in the
rally lights (4) until you hear them click into place.
Make sure the writing on the back of the covers is the
right way round (top, L = left, R = right).
5. Position the roof rack basket so that its brackets (1) are in
contact with the roof bars. When positioning, make sure
that the roof rack basket is in the centre of the vehicle,
both longitudinally and laterally. The hole in the centre of
the bracket (A) is designed to help you do this.
6. The brackets may have to be moved, depending on
your vehicle model. To do this, undo the socket head
cap screws (A) in the brackets with the supplied torque
wrench (B) and position the brackets in the centre of the
roof bars. Tighten the screws again with the supplied
torque wrench until you hear a click.
Important: A loud click lets you know that the correct
torque has been reached.
