The following table will help you select the basic settings for the ingredients.
Note: Please note that these settings are guidelines. As ingredients differ in origin, size,
shape and brand, we cannot guarantee the best setting for your ingredients.
Tips
• Smaller ingredients generally require a slightly shorter preparation time than larger in-
gredients.
• A larger number of ingredients only requires a slightly longer preparation time, a smaller
number of ingredients only requires a slightly shorter preparation time.
• Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the preparation time optimizes the end result
and can help prevent ingredients from frying unevenly.
• Add a little oil to the potatoes for a crispy result. Fry your ingredients in the hot air fryer a
few minutes after adding the oil.
• Do not prepare extremely fatty ingredients such as sausages in the hot air fryer.
• Snacks that can be prepared in the oven can also be prepared in the hot air fryer
• The optimal quantity to prepare crispy fries is 600 grams.
• Use pre-made dough to make filled snacks quickly and easily. Premade dough also requires
a shorter preparation time than homemade dough.
• Place a baking pan or baking dish in the fryer basket if you want to bake a cake or quiche,
or if you want to fry brittle or stuffed ingredients.
• You can also use the deep fryer to reheat ingredients. To reheat ingredients, set the tem-
perature to 150ºC for a maximum of 10 minutes.
• Add 3 minutes to the preparation time when you start frying while the fryer is still cold.
• Turn or shake the ingredients once during cooking.
