POWER SUPPLY
This unit can be operated with mains voltage and, for mobile use, via rechargeable batteries.
MAINS OPERATION Connect the mains cable to the power input. When the unit is connected
the automatic charging for the batteries is active ( the Charge indicator lights red) even if the
unit is switched off. Is not necessary to switch on the unit for recharging; however, it can be
operated during the recharging process. Once the recharging process has been completed
the charge indicator will go off. To prevent unnecessary power consumption disconnect the
mains plug if the unit is not used for a longer period.
BATTERY OPERATION
Durng battey operation, the 4 digit led meter will indicate the charging state of the batteries.
If the LOW indicator lights red the batteries should be recharged as soon as possible.
Connect the device to the mains power to charge the batteries. The PA system ships with an
internal battery that can power continuous playback at full volume for up to 4 hours. Prior
to operating the PA system off mains for the first time, the battery must be fully charged.
Charging time is 4 hours.
NOTE:
to prevent damage to the battery due to deep discarge and to prevent a reduction of its
lifetime, please observe the following notes:
Always fully recharge the battery prior to initial operationand after long storage.
Fully recharge the battery prior to long storage and at least once a month during storage.
INSTALLING AN ADDITIONAL BATTERY
With an additional battery the operation time can be doubled and the PA system can
continuously play music at full volume for up to 8 hours. Charging time for two batteries is
10 hours. Please use only accessory batteries that meet the technical requirements.Follow
the steps below to install the battery:
1. Loosen the outer Philips screw and the inner hexagon socket screw and remove the
batterycompartment cover.
2. The power supply cables are color-coded and equipped with blade receptacles. Connect
the battery to the free cable observing the correct polarity (RED positive pole, BLACK
negative pole) and insert the battery into the compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
