DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

This power planer is Class II. Portable power tool equipped with double insulation and sin-
gle-phase series motor that has been designed primarily for smoothing and cutting wood.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

(1) Rags, clothes, cords, strings and similar objects should never be left around the work area.
(2) Avoid cutting nails. lnspect for and remove all nails from the workpiece before operation
(3) Make sure that the bolts holding the blades are securely tightened before operation.
(4) Make sure that the blades are not touching the workpiece before the switch is turned on
(5) Before using the tool on an actual workpiece, let it run for a few minutes
(6) When in operation, hold the tool firmly with both hands. Keep body at least 20cm away from
the tool at all times and keep your hands away from moving parts
(7) When you finish working, switch the tool off and set it with the front sole on a wooden block
so that the blade does not make contact with any object.
(8) Do not remove shavings with your hands. When the shaving deflector is jammed with shav-
ings, use a stick

1) Keep the work area clean.
-Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.
2) Consider the work area environment.
-Do not expose power tools to rain. Do not use power tools in damp or wet locations. Keep
the work area well lit. Do not use power tools where there is risk that this may cause a fire
or explosion.
3) Guard against electric shock.
-Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces (e.g. pipes, radiators, ranges, refrig-
erators)
4) Keep children away.
-Do not let visitors touch the tool or extension cord. All visitors should be kept away from area .
5) Store idle tools.,
-When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry, high or locked up place out of reach of
children.
