DESCRIPTION :
The KTP EVO fall prevention harnesses
are personal protective equipment (PPE)
against falls in accordance with standard
EN361. Depending on the model, the
harness is equipped with a fall prevention
system
or
a
non-removable
system (#3). A storage bag, attached to
the harness, completes the set.
The KTP EVO harness consists of a dorsal
fall prevention point identified by the letter
A (in accordance with standard EN361 #2)
Harness materials:
• polyester strap
• other components: polyethylene, steel,

The KTP EVO harness is available in only
one size.
The KTP EVO 2 model links the harness to
an EN355 energy absorber integrated with
an EN354 single lanyard.
The KTP EVO 6 model links the harness to
an EN355 energy absorber integrated with

Materials of the lanyard integrated into an
energy absorber:
• polyester lanyard strap
• polyamide and polyester tear absorber

• polyester protective pouch

The KTP EVO 4 model links the harness
to an elastic lanyard similar to an EN355
energy absorber.
Materials of the lanyard integrated into an
energy absorber:
• tubular strap and central tear-away
polyester core
• aluminium or steel connector
The KTP EVO 9 model connects the
harness to an EN360 automatic retracting
fall arrester. Compatible with use in vertical
configuration or fall factor 2. Materials of
the automatic retracting fall arrester :
• aluminium housing
• polyethylene strap lanyard made of high-
tenacity multifilament fibres
• strap of the tear absorber made of
polyamide and polyester
• protective pouch made of polyester
• connector made of aluminium or steel
The KTP EVO 11 model links the harness
to a simple EN354 restraint or work
positioning lanyard.

VERIFICATIONS :
PERIODIC REVIEW
- Periodic once a year examination is
mandatory to ensure user safety which is
linked to the maintenance of the efficiency
and resistance of the equipment. This
frequency should be shortened when usage
is intensive or in difficult environments.
- These periodic examinations must only
be carried out by the manufacturer,
his representative or by a competent
person and in strict compliance with the
manufacturer's periodic review procedures.
- The identification label and the marking
of the equipment must be visible and
understandable to the user.
