If the SRU 7060 cannot learn the code after several times trying,
it is possible that:
The IR signal of your original device is out of range (the SRU 7060 can
only learn IR signals with a carrier signal of 30-60kHz.
The memory of the SRU 7060 is full.
The SRU 7060 stopped the learning process after 20 seconds if no
IR signals are found. Check if your original remote control is working
correctly.
Switch backlighting on or off
With the backlighting of the SRU 7060 you can find the right key on your
remote, even in a dimly lit room. As the backlighting consumes additional
power, the battery lifetime will reduce when the backlighting is used
frequently.Therefore it is possible to switch this function off.
Turn on the backlighting:
Press keys 7 and 9 simultaneously for
5 seconds.
The Standby light will blink twice to confirm
the backlighting is enabled.
Everytime you press a key on the remote the
backlighting will switch on. After 5 seconds it
will switch off automatically
Turn off the backlighting:
Press keys 1 and 9 simultaneously for
5 seconds.
The Standby light will blink twice to confirm
the backlighting is disabled.
The backlighting will not switch on anymore
when you press a key.
Reset a key
To delete a learned function or a macro from a key and restore the original
function, do the following:

Select the correct device mode in which you want to restore a key.

Press the keys 1 and 6 simultaneously for
5 seconds until the label of the selected mode
blinks twice and remains lit.

Press keys 9, 9 and 6, in that order.

Press the key you want to reset twice.
The label of the selected mode blinks twice to confirm that the learned
code or macro is deleted and the original function is restored.
