Important DOS and DON´TS
Numbers in brackets after names of parts correspond to those used in the acompanying
assembly drawings and/or spare parts lists.
1. The machine is switched on by pressing the trigger. Never support the machine on this part
when connected to the air line, since this could lead to unintentional operation.
2. Damaged parts must be immediately exchanged for new original replacements by trained
personnel.
3. The machine must not be used without silencer.
4. Keep hands, loose garments and long hair away from drill steels.
5. S300: Using a retaining cap you have to screw the o-ring tighttly to the retaining cap to avoid
unintentional loosening.
S400/F: Make sure that the is screwn tightly to the ring to avoid uninterntional loosening.
6. Before switching on press the machine against the material to be machined so as to prevent it
from recoiling or slipping.
7. Never lubricate with combustable media.
8. Allow only trained personnel to operate the machine.
9. On completion of the job in hand disconnect the air hose from the machine so as to prevent its
unauthorized operation.
10. Before switching on keep the machine pressed against the material to be machined as
otherwise the steel could result in injury of personnel as it shoots forward.
11. Never fill air hoses with compressed air unless connected up to machine.
12. Make sure all hose connections are tight before switching on.
13. Operate the machine with the hands only. All other parts of the body must be kept at a safe
distance.
14. The hammer is for machining rock, earth and concrete. To avoid injuries make sure that no other
energy toures (e. g. gas or water pipes, power lines, etc.) are damaged by the operation.
ATTENTION: The machine is not insulated against electric current.
15. Avoid worn and blunt steels as they can course harmful vibrations, which reduce the power of
the tool and increase the wear of the parts.
16. Use only tools; which are specified for the use with this machine.
17. Never use the hammer without the retaining cap and accordingly the retaining cap in
connection with the adequate tool!!!!!!!!!
