2. BEFORE USE
-
This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance
out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other
packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance
when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure
all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.

Clean the non-stick plate with a soft, dampened cloth.
-
Slightly grease the non-stick plate with some oil or butter using an absorbent kitchen
towel.

Wipe off any excess oil.
Warning:
A slight odour and smoke might appear when using the appliance for the first time. This is due
to manufacturing material residues and does not affect the operation of the appliance.

3. OPERATION
1.
Place the appliance on an even, heat-resistant surface.
2.
Plug the appliance to a power supply The power light indicator will turn on.

Turn the temperature knob to the desired cooking temperature. The ready light will come
on, indicating that the appliance has started preheating.
4.
Allow the appliance to preheat until the ready light turns off, indicating that the plate has
reached the optimal cooking temperature.
5.
Once the crepe maker is ready, pour the crepe batter onto the non-stick plate and use the
batter spreader to evenly spread the batter.
Note:
The green ready light continuously turns on and off during the cooking process. This is due to
the crepe maker making automatic adjustments to maintain an optimal cooking temperature.

Allow the crepe to cook until the texture of the batter is no longer runny and it slides easily
across the plate.
Use the spatula to lift and flip the crepe over.

Cook both sides until they are lightly browned and can easily be removed from the plate.

After the first crepe is done, adjust temperature.

Place the crepes on a wire rack, cover them with aluminium foil, and place them in a
preheated oven until serving.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Wait for the crepe maker to cool down completely before cleaning it.

Always turn off and unplug the appliance after every use and before cleaning it.

The plate is coated with a non-stick material; therefore, it requires periodic cleaning. Do
not use metal utensils that could damage the non-stick coating of the plate.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
-
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the appliance.

Do not wash the appliance in the dishwasher.

Make sure that the crepe maker is completely dry and has cooled down before storing it.
