USING THE APPLIANCE:
1. This appliance is intended ONLY for household use.
2. Prepare the recipe ingredients by following the recipe instructions.
3. Open the lid.
4. Coat the non-stick surface with a small amount of vegetable oil. This
can be done with a paper towel or with a non-stick cooking oil spray. Wipe
off any excess oil. It is recommended to periodically do this before use to
maintain the quality of the non-stick coating.
5. Check and confirm the voltage of the appliance is the same as the
outlets. Then, plug in the electrical cord carefully into a separate outlet
from other appliances to prevent the circuit from being overloaded.
6. Close the appliance after plugging in, and allow it to pre-heat.
7. The red indicator light will turn on as soon as you connect the appliance
while the temperature control is in the "0" position. Select the desired
temperature. When the appliance is ready to cook the green indicator light
also will turn on. Note: The green indicator light turns on and off during
use. This does not reflect cooking completion but only temperature cycles
from minimum to maximum.
8. Open the appliance carefully with an oven mitt, grabbing it by the cool
touch handle.
9. Place the ingredients on the top of the lower panini plate and press
down with the upper panini plate.
10. After the ingredients are ready, carefully remove them by using an oven
mitt and/or a heat-resistant wooden or plastic spatula. Do not use metal
utensils because they will scratch and damage the non-stick coating.
11. If you cook more than one batch in a session, after removing the first
batch, allow the appliance cool for about 5 minutes before next batch.
