When installing a DERO fireplace with an open ex-
pansion vessel, a number of safety requirements
should be taken into account.
When installing the radiators, do not place area
thermostat valves on all radiators. Part of the insta-
llations (radiators) must always be open to enable
the heater to dissipate any overheating or overs-
peed.
It is mandatory to include an expansion vessel
(open or closed) in the installation.
It is advisable to install a thermostat that will cut
the circulator whenever the water in the boiler is

below 50ºC. This will avoid condensation when ligh-
ting the heater.
It is advisable for all installation components
(safety valve, circulator) to be installed on the ba-
ckflow.
