PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
ATTACHING THE STAINLESS STEEL BOWL
BEFORE FIRST USE
Your Stand Mixer is individually adjusted at the factory for optimal performance. When using
the Stainless Steel Bowl, it may be necessary to readjust the beater-to-bowl clearance. Please
refer to the Stand Mixer "Product Guide" for complete information on adjusting the beater-to-
bowl clearance, or call 1-800-541-6390 Monday through Friday 8-8 EST, and we would be
happy to assist you in making this adjustment.
IMPORTANT: Before use, wash with hot, soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly. It is not
necessary to season the Stainless Steel Bowl before use.
NOTE: This Stainless Steel Bowl is designed to fit all 4.5 and 5 quart Tilt Head Stand Mixer
models except model KN15E1X. Follow these instructions to attach the Stainless Steel Bowl to
your Stand Mixer.
1.
Turn the Stand Mixer off (O) and unplug.
2.
Unlock and lift the Motor Head. Then, lock

Place the bowl on the Clamping Plate to secure in place.
4.
Attach the appropriate accessory for your recipe, using the directions in the Stand Mixer
"Product Guide". Then place the Motor Head back in the down position and lock into place.
PRODUCT DISASSEMBLY
REMOVING THE STAINLESS STEEL BOWL
1.
Turn the Stand Mixer off (O) and unplug.
2.
Raise the Motor Head: Unlock and lift the motor head. Then, lock
lifted.
3.
Remove the accessory: Press the accessory upward, turn it and pull it away from the
beater shaft.
4.
Remove the Stainless Steel Bowl: Twist to unlock the bowl from the clamping plate.
