2. Using the screwdriver, tighten the metal clamp around
the hose (fig. 2).
3. Put the other metal clamp on the other end of the
gas hose and connect this other end of the hose to the
regulating valve of your gas cylinder. Tighten the metal
clamp with the screwdriver (fig. 3).
4. Confirm that the gas valve is closed before connecting
it to the gas cylinder (fig. 4)
IMPORTANT:
5. After installing the gas, verify that there is no leakage
by applying soapy water on the connections and curves
of the pipes. If bubbles appear, the installation was not
carried out correctly and must be installed again (fig. 5).
The hose must not be bent, tense or too close to heat
sources.
- It is not advisable to place the gas cylinder next to
the stove. - In case of problems, consult your Whirlpool
service center.
IMPORTANT: The connection must be made by qualified
personnel.
INSTALLATION WITH NATURAL GAS OR LP IMPORTANT PLUGGED:
· This product is ready for operation with LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas).
· The technical specifications for this stove are found on the identification label on the back of
this product.
· To connect this stove to Natural Gas or Liquefied Petroleum Gas pipe, it is necessary to
remove the gas outlet located on the back of the stove and then use the appropriate material
and approved by the
local regulations
· The operations to adapt your stove to Natural Gas or piped LP Gas must be carried out by a
qualified installer of the Whirlpool Service Center.
RECOMENDATIONS:
· After installing the gas, verify that there is no leak, applying soapy water on the connections
and curves of the pipes. If bubbles appear, the installation was not performed correctly and you
must reinstall the product again.
· The flexible metal hose or hose must not be bent, strained or too close to heat sources.
· If the installation is not new, clean the pipes to avoid clogging the spikes or pilots.
· In order to facilitate the movement of the appliance, the installer must spiral the copper hose
and install a stopcock in the gas supply line. This key must be outside the stove and accessible
to people who use it.
DO NOT USE FLAMES TO DETECT GAS LEAKS.
