WARNING:
• Oils and fats may burn when overheated. Please be careful! Do
not forget to switch the device off after use! First, set the thermostat
to the lowest setting, and then pull the mains plug.
• Keep a sufficient safety distance (30 cm) from easily flammable
objects like furniture, curtains, etc. Fire hazard!
• If the appliance should catch fire, never try to extinguish the flames
with water. Smother the flames with a moist cloth.
• Do not move or carry the hot appliance while it is in operation. Hot
liquids, hot steam, or oil splashes may escape.
CAUTION:
• Only the supplied thermostat may be used. No other regulator
should be used under any circumstances.
• This appliance is not intended to be immersed in water during
cleaning.
• Different surfaces come into contact with food and oil. Follow the
instructions provided for you in the chapter "Cleaning".
• Before inserting or removing the thermostat please ensure that the
scale of the temperature regulator is turned to 0 (Off). Otherwise the
device may fail to operate or overheat.
• When inserting the thermostat please ensure that it is inserted cor-
rectly. The regulator should be facing upwards. When removing the
thermostat, do not pull the cable, but pull on the plug of the thermo-
stat. Do not use excessive force or bend the thermostat when insert-
ing or removing it.
• Please keep the temperature sensor and the pins of the holder
clean.
• Please ensure that the mains lead does not come into contact with
the hot sections of the device.
