Problem
The red light flashes, but the water
reservoir is filled.
The rinsing process cannot be started.
No water runs from the dispenser outlet
during the rinsing process.
The dispenser selector jams long before
the dispenser selector is in position 'D'.
Water escapes from the coffee pad cassette. Make sure that the coffee pads are correctly placed in the coffee pad cassette.
Water comes under the appliance.
The coffee is too weak.
The coffee is too strong.
The cream layer is deteriorating.
No coffee emerges, but the pump is operating. (1) Move the dispenser selector to the left as far as possible.
Hot water cannot be removed.
The water in the water reservoir heats up.

the pump is operating.
The coffee quantity is reduced.

Solution
(1) Empty the water reservoir. (2) Shake the empty water reservoir to
check whether the float moves freely. (3) Clean or descale the water reservoir.
(1) Make sure that the water in the water reservoir is cold.
(2) Set the dispenser selector to position 'C'.
Set the dispenser selector to position 'D'.
Make sure that the coffee pads are correctly placed in the coffee pad
cassette.
(1) Empty the drip tray. (2) Only fill the water reservoir up to the maximum
mark. (3) Only remove the water reservoir from the appliance briefly for
filling or cleaning.
(1) Choose a stronger type of coffee. (2) Set a lower coffee quantity using
the coffee qunatity selector. (3) Make sure that the coffee pads are
correctly placed in the coffee pad cassette.
(1) Choose a weaker type of coffee. (2) Set a higher coffee quantity using
the coffee quantity selector.
(1) Regularly clean and descale the coffee dispenser filter. (2) If the two
filters of the coffee dispenser filter are pressed against each other, replace
the coffee dispenser filter.
(2) Make sure that the central opening of the coffee pad cassette is not
clogged by calcium or coffee residue.
Set the dispenser selector to position 'B'.
(1) Set the dispenser selector to position 'B' or 'D'. (2) Make sure that the
central opening of the coffee pad cassette is not clogged by calcium or
coffee residue.
If the coffee-making temperature is not achieved during heating, the
appliance will switch off after approximately 2 minutes. Do not use the
appliance in locations higher than 1,500 m above sea level.
(1) Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and leave the appliance
for several hours to reduce the pressure. (2) If this does not work,
remove all removable parts, place the appliance on its side, and open the
central opening of the coffee pad cassette from below with a needle.
Be careful: coffee may spray out during the process.

dispenser adapter, the milk jug is suctioned dry after frothing milk: Make
sure that the milk jug is not higher than 14 cm.
