1. Please read the following information and
keep it for future reference.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
3. Children should be supervised in order
to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
4. Keep the appliance out of reach of
children.
5. Connect the appliance only to an AC power
supply with the voltage indicated on the
rating plate.
6. Do not operate this appliance with an
external timer or remote control system.
7. Never immerse the appliance or the lead
cable in water or other liquids.
8. The base should never come into contact
with water or other liquids. In case this ever
happens, the appliance must be completely
dry before operating it again.
9. Do not clean the appliance in a dish-
washer.
10. Never touch the appliance or lead cable
with wet hands.
11. This appliance is intended for domestic and
similar use such as:
ƒ staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments;
ƒ agricultural enterprises;
ƒ by clients in hotels, motels and other
accommodation facilities;

15. Make sure that the lead cable does not hang
over the edge of the worktop or table, since
this can cause accidents, for example if
small children pull on the cable.
16. Route the lead cable so that it is prevented
from being pulled or tripped over.
17. Never wrap the lead cable around the
appliance, but around the cable storage on
the bottom of the base.
18. Always disconnect the lead cable from the
wall socket pulling on the plug, never on the
cable.
19. Never carry the base by the lead cable.
20. Use the appliance only indoors.
21. Do not use the appliance near combustible
materials such as curtains etc.
22. Do not use the appliancein the oven or the
microwave.
23. Make sure that the lid of the appliance is
always completely closed, to prevent injuries
from hot splashing water.
24. Make sure that all users, especially children,
are aware of the danger of injury from
escaping steam or hot splashing water. Risk
of burns!
