Safety
WARNING - To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury:

If the unit is damaged contact Lumie before use.
•
Keep away from water and damp.
•
For indoor use only.
•
The unit gets warm when the light is on, so make sure that it is not covered.
•
Use only the mains power adaptor supplied.
•
Keep the mains power adaptor away from heated surfaces. If it is damaged it should be
replaced with an approved Lumie product.
•
To power down or reset the unit, remove the mains power adaptor from the wall socket.
•
Do not attempt to service or modify any part of the unit.
•
Do not shorten or cut the power cord.
•
If the unit has been stored outside the recommended temperature range (5 °C to 35 °C /
41 °F to 95 °F), allow it to stand for at least 1 hour before applying power to avoid
condensation or overheating.
•
Not to be used by or on individuals who are unconscious, anaesthetized or incapacitated
e.g. under the influence of alcohol.
CAUTION
•
Do not drop the unit on the floor, hit it hard or expose it to other shocks.
•
Place the unit on a stable, level and non-slippery surface.
•
Always unplug the unit before cleaning and allow it to cool down.
•
Not to be used with light dimmers, timers, motion detectors, voltage transformers or
extension cords.
•
Intended for household use, including similar use in hotels. Do not use attachments not
recommended by Lumie.
