Round backing pad
1. Keep the backing pad clamping lever pressed down;
2. Place the backing pad (15) on the gearbox so that it is
fully fitted. Turn the Velcro pad to adjust into the rotation
shaft and insert the lower suction hose in the correct
position;
3. Release the clamping lever to secure the backing pad.
Ensure that the backing pad is securely fastened and
does not become loose;

4. Keep the backing pad clamping lever pressed down;
5. Pull and place the locking pin in the upper position to
unlock the backing pad;
6. Place the backing pad on the gearbox so that it is fully
fitted. Turn the Velcro pad to adjust into the rotation
shaft and insert the lower suction hose in the correct
position;
7. Release the clamping lever to secure the backing pad.
Ensure that the backing pad is securely fastened and
does not become loose;
8. Pull and rotate the locking pin so that it is in the down
position to lock the backing pad.
To ensure optimum performance and to avoid
accidents, test the sander at a speed slightly below
the working speed. Keep the sander running for a while to
check that the backing pad fits perfectly and check that all
other parts are in good condition.
Round Velcro intermediate pad
1. Insert the hex key into the Velcro pad fastening screw;
2. Hold the Velcro pad firmly and turn the key
counterclockwise to loosen the fixing bolt;
3. Remove the Velcro pad and replace it with a new one;
4. Screw the bolt;

5. Loosen the 6 fixing bolts of the Velcro pad;
6. Remove the Velcro pad and replace it with a new one;
7. Screw the bolts.
The sander has been designed for sanding drywall, ceilings
and interior walls, removing carpet remains, paint layers,
coatings, glue remains and loose plaster. In addition, the
sander can also be used for sanding floors.
While operating the sander, you must consider certain
precautions and procedures in order to avoid accidents:
▪ The rotating accessories and parts must be able to
operate at least at the rotation speed of the sander. If
this is not the case, the accessories and parts may be
damaged and cause injury to the user and damage to the
working area;
▪ Use only original VITO Velcro pads. Accessories from
other manufacturers are not suitable, may cause
unbalance, excessive vibration and may cause loss of
control of the sander;
▪ Never put the power tool down before the sanding
surface is fully stopped.
Before you start working, check that all the
components of the sander are in good condition and
correctly assembled.
1. Hold the sander with both hands, one hand on the main
handle (6) and the other hand on the telescopic rod
handle (8);
2. Press the "ON/OFF" switch to switch on the drywall
sander (12);
3. Touch the sander to the surface/part to be worked on;
Apply enough pressure to keep the Velcro pad fully laid on
the surface.
Make circular, transverse or longitudinal movements.
4. To turn off the sander, release the "ON/OFF" switch;
To operate the sander continuously:
5. Press the "ON/OFF" switch and simultaneously press the
lock-on button (5). Release the buttons and use the
sander in continuous mode;
6. To stop the sander, press and release the "ON/OFF"
switch.
