Keep all nuts and bolts tight so that the power tool is in safe
operating condition.
If components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance work, they must be reinstalled correctly and
immediately. Servicing double insulated power tools
requires extreme care and knowledge of the system and
should only be carried out by a qualified person.
Replacement of components of a double insulated power
tool must be carried out using identical parts to the original.
Use only VITO-approved accessories for this machine or
technically identical parts. Failure to do so may result in
personal injuries or damages to the drywall sander. If in
doubt, if you lack knowledge or resources, you should
contact an official dealer.
Your drywall sander should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts.
1. Remove the sander from the cardboard box;
2. Pull out the extendable arm (3) and secure it with the
locking hook (2);
3. Make sure both ends are aligned, and the locking hook
is properly engaged.
1. Fit the telescopic rod (10) into the mounting hole;
2. The telescopic rod extension has a hole which defines its
maximum extension. By inserting the extension into the
slot, the limit button (11) locks the telescopic rod in the
maximum extension position;
3. Press the limit button to release the telescopic rod and
adjust to the desired position;
4. Tighten the nut and fixing lever.
1. Fit the sanding disc onto the Velcro intermediate pad;
The holes of the sanding disc must match the holes of the
Velcro pad. Otherwise, the suction capacity decreases, and
dust formation increases.
2. To secure the sanding disc to the Velcro pad, press over
the entire area of the disc.
To avoid damage to the Velcro surface, when replacing the
sandpaper, avoid pulling it off without holding the pad.
Remove part of the sandpaper, hold the Velcro with the
other hand and then remove the remaining sandpaper. This
procedure increases the life of the Velcro pad.
Do not use sanding discs that are larger than the technical
specifications of the sander. When choosing the discs,
follow the technical data of the sander. Sanding discs with
dimensions larger than the Velcro pads, can cause
blockages, which result in the disc breaking or kickback.
Choose the sanding disc (grit type) according to the work
to be performed.
1. Insert the suction hose (1) adaptor into the suction port
(9);
Ensure that the hose fixing pins are properly fitted into the
slots in the telescopic rod connector.
2. Connect the suction hose to a vacuum cleaner using one
of the hose connection adaptors.
