Prepare the appliance according to the func-

1. Fill the tank with a maximum of one mea-
•
sure of water using the beaker supplied with
the appliance. Do not add any substances, in-
cluding chemical products, cologne, detergent,
etc., to the water. This could seriously damage
the appliance and void the warranty.
2. Do not use the appliance if the water tank
•
is empty. If the equipment stops producing
steam, this means that the water tank is empty.
3. Always check that the surfaces, objects and
•
fabrics to be treated are resistant to or compa-
tible with high-temperature steam. We recom-
mend checking the manufacturer's instructions
and, before using the equipment, performing a
test on a hidden part or a sample of the surface
to be treated.
4. Do not tilt the steam cleaner/fabric steamer

more than 45º during use, as this could allow
boiling water to escape with the steam.

•
use. Take care when removing them.
6. Only use the measuring beaker when filling
•
the tank.
7. To protect against the risk of electric shock,
•
do not immerse the steam cleaner/fabric stea-
mer in water or other liquids, nor handle it with
wet hands.
8. Never tug on the mains cable to unplug it
•
from the electric socket. Always hold the plug
and pull it out of the socket.
9. Always unplug the appliance when it is not
•
in use.
10. Always supervise use of the steam clea-
•
ner when used near children. Do not leave the
steam cleaner/fabric steamer switched on un-
supervised.
11. Touching the steamer's hot parts, hot water
•
or steam may cause burns or scalding. Always
take precautions whenever there is hot water
in the tank.
