Maintenance
- Make sure that all welding equipment is turned
OFF and the torch has cooled down completely
before performing any inspection or maintenance.
- Do not use a bench vice, there is risk of damaging
its components.
- Verify the condition of the electrical insulation on
the cable, on the body, and other isolated parts.
The damaged parts must be replaced. Do not make
any temporary repairs. Consult Sumig's catalog of
replacement parts.
- Check the condition of the O-rings.
- Clean the torch and machine connector, so that
there is good electrical contact.
- Finish cleaning by using dry, compressed air.
- Protect the environment. Always properly
dispose consumable parts for recycling.
