Connection for TIG welding
- Connect (1) the earth clamp to the positive socket (+) (2)
ofthe power source.
- Connect the TIG torch coupling (3) to the torch socket (4)
ofthe power source.
- Connect the gas hose from the cylinder to the rear gas con-
nection.
- Connect the signal cable of the torch (5) to the appropriate
connector (6).
- Connect the gas hose of the torch (7) to the appropriate
union/connection (8).
- Connect the red colored
the inlet quick connector of the cooling unit (10).
- Connect the blue colored
to the outlet quick connector of the cooling unit (12).
2.2 General
The ST series torches are digital TIG torches allowing the main
welding parameters to be controlled:
- welding current
- program recall (U/D-DIGITIG)
Parameters 3-4 can be personalised (DIGITIG).

"Up" button
They enable the welding parameters and program
selection/adjustment.
The up and down buttons are self-repeating at progres-
sive speed.

They enable the welding parameters and program
selection/adjustment.
The up and down buttons are self-repeating at progres-
sive speed.
2.2.3 ST... DIGITIG series torches

Navigation joystick
Allows the selection and the setting of the welding
parameters.
Left-right
They enable welding parameter selection.
The left and right buttons are not provided with self-
repeating function.
Up-down
They allow adjustment of the welding parameters.
The up and down keys are provided with progressive
speed self-repeating function.

7-segment display
Allows the general welding machine parameters to be
displayed during start-up, settings, current and voltage
readings, while welding, and encoding of the alarms.
