1. SAFETY WARNINGS
ො This appliance is not intended for being used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This ap-
pliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and maintenance shall not be performed by children.
ො For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical cir-
cuit. Ask your installer for advice.
ො If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid risks, it should be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, maintenance department or similar sector professionals.
ො This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
ො Only the appropriate connector must be used.
ො Do not use attachments not recommended or supplied for this product.
ො Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before as-
sembling, disassembling or cleaning.
ො When the appliance is not in use, switch it off and unplug it.
ො Do not insert things into the air outlets and inlets, in order to avoid any damage.

ො Use the appliance only on a flat surface.
ො Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
ො Do no turn over the appliance. Unplug the power supply if it is toppled over and there
is some water in the body. Dry the body before use.
ො Do not put near a wall or curtain.
ො Do not knock or shake the body when using, otherwise it may stop.
ො The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
ො Do not use the appliance in the immediate surrounding of a bath, a shower or a swim-
ming pool.
