Maintenance
Cleaning
Keep the washing machine clean to prevent deteriorated performance and to preserve its life
cycle.
Exterior
•
Use a soft cloth to wipe up all detergent, bleach, or other spills as they occur.
•
Clean the control panel with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive powders or cleaning
pads. Do not spray cleaners directly on the panels.
Interior
•
Clean the interior of the washing machine after each cycle to remove any dirt, soil, odor,
mold, mildew, or bacterial residue that may remain in the machine.
•
Failure to do so may result in unpleasant conditions, including odors and/or permanent
stains on the machine or laundry.
•
You can remove hard water deposits, if you want to. Use cleaners labeled "Washing
machine safe".
Long-term care
The washing machine can be damaged if water is not removed from hoses and internal
components before storage. To store the machine for long, follow these instructions.
1. Select QUICK WASH and add bleach to the auto dispenser. Run the cycle without a load.
2. Turn the water taps off and disconnect the water hoses.
3. Unplug the washing machine from the electrical outlet and leave the door open to let air
circulate inside the tub.
NOTE
If the washing machine has been stored in below–freezing temperatures, allow time for any
remaining water in the machine to thaw out before use.
Surface protection
Do not put any heavy or sharp objects or a detergent box on the washing machine. They
•
can scratch or damage the top cover of the machine.
•
As the entire washing machine has a high-gloss finish, the surface of the machine can
be scratched or damaged. Avoid scratching or damaging the surface when using the
machine.
