Installing the bulb
Step 1: Loosen screws that hold lens retaining clips in place.
Step 2: When screws become loose, rotate clips away from fixture and
remove glass lens.
Step 3: Using gloves or a soft cloth, gently insert bulb by pressing one
end into the spring loaded socket and repeat with the opposite
end. Bulb should fit securely into contacts.
Step 4: Replace the glass lens and tighten the screws
that hold the lens retaining clips.
NOTE: Be sure lens gasket is installed correctly around
upper portion of housing (E).
Assembling your fixture
Step 1: Loosen the swivel bolt (F) located on
the back of the fixture.
Step 2: Thread the junction box coverplate
(I) onto the mounting arm (G).
Step 3: Secure the locknut (H) to the cover-
plate.
NOTE: Your fixture is factory assembled
for wall or ground mount use. If fixture is
to be used for eave mounting, the screw
holding the mounting arm must be loos-
ened and the mounting arm repositioned
(J). Retighten mounting arm screw when
completed. Be sure fixture is always
mounted in the UP position (note UP
arrow on housing).
Wiring your fixture
Step 1: TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY.
Step 2: Connect the black wire to the black supply wire (hot).
Step 3: Connect the white wire to the white supply wire (neutral).
Step 4: Connect the ground wire to the supply ground or a grounded
junction box. NOTE: Be careful to connect the wires c o r r e c t ly.
Make sure no bare strands of wire extend from the wire nut
or other approved wire connector (not provided). Apply sili-
cone caulk around the junction box to ensure a watertight
seal.
Step 5: Attach fixture and coverplate to junction box and fasten securely.
NOTE: This fixture can be used with a dimmer switch to adjust
light output. To install a dimmer switch: Use a dimmer switch
designed for incandescent lighting that has a rating of 300 watts
or higher. Follow the installation instructions included with the
