Error messages
If the kitchen scale is subjected to a load
of more than 5.0 kg, the message "Err" will
� ash on the display.
If the battery in the kitchen scale needs to
be replaced, the message "Lo" will � ash on
the display.
Replacing the battery
Open the battery compartment in the base
of the kitchen scale. Carefully push the
metal clip outwards with your � nger nail or
something similar, so the battery is released.
Insert a new battery into the scale and then
replace the battery cover. Dispose of the
used battery in accordance with applicable
local regulations.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe the kitchen scale with a well-wrung
cloth and then dry off with a dry cloth.
Remove the battery, if you do not intend
to use the kitchen scale for an extended
period.
