UNIT DESCRIPTION

INTRODUCTION
The QAA70 is a multifunction digital
ambient unit designed to improve ambient
comfort and functionality of the ALBATROS'
types:
– RVA 43.222 (single/cascade operation
of base boilers)
- RVA 47.320 (cascade operation of
modulating boilers)
- RVA 46.531 (low/high temperature
zone management)
The ambient unit allows controlling all the
key functions of the living room.

FUNCTIONS
– Ergonomic control units subdivided
according to the function (control levels).
– Clear repartition of main functions:
• Operating mode, correction of the
preset value and presence key are
directly accessible.
• Several current real values are acces-
sible by the "info" key.
• Other functions can be programmed
after opening the cover.
• Special service level with protected
access.
– Each change or amendment is showed
on the display and confirmed.
– Heating program with max. 3 heating
periods during the day, selectable indivi-
dually.
– Vacation program.
– Possibility to bring back the program to
standard heating values.
– Programming lock (children safety).
– Preset for further connections:
• Remote temperature probe.
• Operating mode by phone line with exter-
nal contact or by a window contact.
– 12 hours minimum saving: the program-
med values are retained in a non volatile
memory.
– Elegant cover produced in recyclable pla-
stic.

Types of houses and buildings
This ambient unit is suitable for the following
kind of houses and buildings, according to
the type of regulator to be used:
– Single or double houses
– Small multi-familiar buildings
– Holiday houses or villas
– Small commercial buildings

Types of system
The QAA70 is suitable for any standard forced
circulation heating system, like radiators, fan
heaters and radiant panels.
Recommended for use with RVA 46.531 and
RVA 47.320 controllers in zone systems with a
single pump.
