CAUSE
The power cord is disconnected.
The internal fuse has burned out.

Waterline filter is clogged.
The insert is not seated securely
in the handpiece.

SOLUTION
Check all the connections of the control unit.
Check the power supply to the dental office.
Contact your dealer or Hu-Friedy.
Adjust the liquid flow water knob.
Check the connection between the handpiece cord
and control unit.
Check the connection between the water tube and
the control unit.
Check the connection between the foot control and
the control unit.
Check the water filter for blockage.
Properly set water adjustment knob.
Contact your dealer or Hu-Friedy.
Open dental office water supply valves.
Replace waterline filter.
Check the insert to ensure proper insertion
into handpiece.
Replace with proper kHz insert.
Replace the insert.
Adjust the power setting to the recommended power
range indicated on the package insert.
Connect the foot control correctly.
