6.3. START-UP
6.3.1. CHECKPOINTS BEFORE COMMISSIONING
Do not use this machine if it is damaged or improperly
regulated.
Use this machine for the purpose for which it was
designed. Any other use can be dangerous for the
user, for the machine and for people, animals and
things that may be around.
Check the machine completely and look for loose
parts (screws, nuts, etc.) and damage.
Tighten, repair or replace everything necessary before
using the machine.
6.3.2. START UP
Before starting the engine of the machine, make
sure that the moving parts of the machine are not in
contact with any object.
Start the engine carefully according to the instructions
and with the feet away from the blade.
Do not tilt the mower when starting the engine except
if the machine has to be tilted for ignition. In this case,
do not tilt it more than absolutely necessary and lift
only the part furthest away from the operator.
Do not start the engine when it is in front of the
discharge nozzle.
6.3.4. START UP AND STOPPAGE
Start up of the machine:
Install the batteries (see point 6.2.6)
Insert and turn the key that is attached to the
accessory bag and choose one of the two batteries
you will want to use (L) (R).
Press the safety button (A) and, without releasing it,
pull the switch lever (B) towards the handlebar. Then
stop pressing the safety button (A).

Stopping the machine:
Release the switch lever (B).
After turning off the machine, the blade will continue
rotating for a moment due to inertia. Wait until
the blade stops before servicing the machine or
transporting it.
6.3.5. CHECKING POINTS AFTER START UP
It is important to ensure that there are no loose parts
and to check the temperature of the machine. If you
detect anything strange, stop inmediately and check
carefully. In case of any anomaly or problem take
the machine to your nearest service agent for repair.
Never carry on working if the machine does not seem
to work properly.
