2. General information

This Instruction Manual refers to the Max 1000/900 product.
The Max 1000/900 was designed and produced for use at home.
It is a household appliance that, according to its definition and assembly characteristics, is placed in the category of kitchen sinks outfitted with
modern technology.
All the products in the Max 1000/900 series are tried and tested for functionality and safety in accordance with existing EU Laws and Directives.
The EU Directives applicable to the Max 1000/900 are:
- 73/23/EEC, modified by 2006/95/EC Low Voltage (LVD)
- 89/336/EEC, modified by 2004/108/EC Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
As well as technical laws: CEI EN 60335-1, CEI EN 61770, CEI EN 60529
As much as possible, the abovementioned Laws concern the normal risks presented by machines to which people are exposed at home. However, in
general, they do not take into consideration:
- The use of the machine by people (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
prohibit them from using the device safely without supervision or instruction.
- Children playing with the device.

- USE OF THE MACHINE BY PEOPLE (INCLUDING CHILDREN) WHOSE
PHYSICAL, SENSORY OR MENTAL CAPACITIES, OR LACK OF EXPE-
RIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE, PROHIBIT THEM FROM USING THE DEVI-
CE SAFELY WITHOUT SUPERVISION OR INSTRUCTION.
- CHILDREN PLAYING WITH THE DEVICE.
IT IS MANDATORY TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED IN THIS
