Lock the throttle trigger in the fast-idle start
position, then pull the starter grip.
CAUTION
• Do not pull the Starter rope all the way out.
WARNING
• Do not disassemble the Starter.
  Please ask for an authorized MARUYAMA
service dealer.
After the engine starts, squeeze and release the throttle
trigger to return it to the idle position, then move the
choke lever to the open (
If the engine stops running before you move the choke
lever to the open (
) position:
Go ahead and open the choke, pull the starter grip with
the throttle tigger positioned at Fast-idle position.
Hot Restart
To start an engine that is already warmed up (hot
restart), or if the ambient temperature exceeds 68°F
(20°C):

Pump the primer bulb at the bottom of the car-
buretor until fuel can be seen flowing through the
fuel return line to the fuel tank.

Move the choke lever to the open (
and move the stop switch to the "ON" position.
3.
Leave the throttle trigger in the idle position and
pull the starter grip.
4.
If the engine fails to start after three to four pulls,
follow the instruction in the Cold Starting
Procedure section (this page).
If the engine fails to start after you follow the

To Stop The Engine:

1.
Release the throttle trigger.
2.
Slide the stop switch to the "STOP" position.
