UNPACKING
Carefully remove the product from the box. Make
sure that all items listed in the packing list are
included.
Inspect all items carefully to make sure no breakage
or damage occurred during shipping.
Do not discard the packing material until you have
carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the
tool.
WARNING: If any parts are damaged or missing
please do not operate this product until the parts are
replaced. Failure to heed this warning could result in
serious personal injury. Call our customer service
help line at 1-800-618-7474 for assistance.
ASSEMBLING THE WHEELS ( Fig 1 - 3 )
The wheels are only used for ground level grass
trimming and lawn edging purposes.
Insert the wheel and shaft through the wheel cart.
Assemble the other wheel onto the shaft as shown in
figure 1-3.

ASSEMBLING THE TELESCOPIC HANDLE
(Grass Shear Only)(Fig. 4 - 7 )
WARNING: The telescopic handle is designed only
for use with the grass shear blade at ground level.
Do not use the telescopic handle with the shrub
shear or above ground level.

1) To attach the telescopic handle, push the
wheel cart onto the tool in the direction of the
arrow until it clicks into position. ( Fig.4)
2) Push the tool onto the telescopic handle as
shown by the direction of the arrow in Fig. 5. Make
sure that the wheel cart is correctly engaged. Then
insert the connection cable into cable inlet on the
tool as shown in Fig. 6. Press the handle release
button as shown in Fig.7 to rotate the tool to the
left or right for use as an edge trimmer. The
wheel cart will rotate about 90° in either direction
and will click when in the proper position.

REMOVING THE TELESCOPIC HANDLE
To remove the telescopic handle, make sure the
connection cable is disconnected from the cable
inlet. Proceed in the reverse order as described
above. To remove the wheel cart, press the handle
release button and push it in the direction of the
arrow (Fig. 8).
