3.3
Storage
Store the e-scooter in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. If left unused,
recharge the battery every month to maintain longevity of the battery and to avoid
damage.
Never store the e-scooter in temperatures above 50°C, or below -20°C, as this
will cause damage. The capacity of the battery decreases with cold temperatures,
impacting the range.
3.4
Cleaning
In order to avoid corrosion, you should clean and dry your e-scooter after
every use.
• Use a slightly damp sponge or cloth for cleaning and dry afterwards with
a towel.
• DO NOT use excessive water or harsh substances such as degreasers as they
may result in damage to the e-scooter and its battery.
• NEVER use a pressure washer to clean the e-scooter.
3.5
Repairs
For all warranty repairs, the e-scooter must only be repaired with official spare
parts from an authorised supplier and by Pure Electric itself.
Alternatively, any local e-scooter repair shop will be able to help you with small
non-warranty repairs (read the 'warranty section' for more information on what
is and is not covered by your warranty), whenever you need them. Visit our 'Parts'
page on the website to find common replacements such as inner tubes, so you
can bring along the exact part you need for the repair.
The opening, disassembly or modification of the e-scooter with non-licensed or
non-official parts or accessories, and/or by a non-qualified person will lead to the
warranty becoming invalid.
This e-scooter contains batteries that are not replaceable by the user. Batteries
shall only be replaced by Pure Electric.
