Thank you for purchasing a Y2N current clamp.
For best results from your instrument:
 read these operating instructions carefully,
 comply with the Precautions for use.
■ Do not use to measure currents exceeding 600 A, and limit the operating time from 500 A
(see § 4.3.1 Overloads).
■ Do not use on uninsulated conductors with potentials higher than 600 V with respect to earth.
■ For indoor use only.
■ Do not expose to falling water.
■ Do not use at altitudes of over 2000 m.
■ Keep the air gap perfectly clean (see § 5.1 Cleaning).
Meaning of symbols used :
WARNING, risk of DANGER! The operator must refer to these instructions whenever
this danger symbol appears.
Equipment protected throughout by double or reinforced insulation.
The CE marking indicates conformity with European directives, in particular LVD and EMC.
The rubbish bin with a line through it means that, in the European Union, the product must
undergo selective disposal in compliance with Directive WEEE 2002/96/EC. This equipment
must not be treated as household waste.
