INSTALLING THE GRASS CATCHER
(For Rear Bagging Operation)

Remove switch key and
battery pack.
Lift the rear discharge door
(C).
Lift the grass catcher by its
handle (A) and place under
the rear discharge door so
that the hooks (E) on the
grass catcher are seated
onto the slots on the mower
housing (B).
Release the rear discharge door.
Reinstall switch key and battery pack when you are
ready to mow.
SETTING BLADE HEIGHT
See Figure 6
When shipped, the wheels on the mower are set to a low-cutting
position. Before using the mower for the first time, raise the
cutting position to the height best suited for your lawn. The
average lawn
should be between 1-1/2 in. to 2 in. during cool
months and 2 in. or higher during hot months.
To adjust the blade height:
Remove switch key and battery pack.
To raise the blade height, press inward on the height
adjustment lever (A) and move it toward the back of the
mower. C is the highest blade setting.
To lower the blade height, press inward on the height
adjustment lever and move it toward the front of the mower.
B is the lowest blade setting.
Reinstall switch key and battery pack when you are ready
to mow.

INSTALLING/REMOVING BATTERY PACK

To Install Battery Pack
Lift and hold up the battery cover (1).
Align the battery (2) with the mower's battery port.
Make sure the battery release button (3) snaps in
place and that battery is fully seated and secure in
the mower before beginning operation.
If the machine is not going to be used immediately,
remove the battery.
To Remove Battery Pack
Release the bail lever to stop the mower.
Open the battery cover. Press the battery release
button (3) on the mower.
Remove battery from the mower.

This product will accept Scotts 20V lithium-ion battery
packs only.

WARNING
Always remove battery pack from your tool
:
when you are assembling parts, making adjustments,
cleaning, carrying, transporting or when not in use.
Removing battery pack will prevent accidental starting that
could cause serious personal injury.
NOTE: To avoid serious personal injury, always remove
the battery pack and keep hands clear of the trigger
release button when carrying or transporting the tool.
WARNING: Make sure the latch on the tool snaps in place
and the battery pack is fully seated and secure in the
battery port before beginning operation. Failure to securely
seat the battery pack could cause the battery pack to fall
out, resulting in serious personal injury.
SWITCH KEY
In order to prevent accidental start-up or unauthorized use
of your cordless mower, a removable switch key has been
incorporated into the design of your mower. The mower
will be completely disabled when the switch key has been
removed from the mower.
WARNING: The cord on the switch key is used for
storage; keep it out of the reach of children. DO NOT
tether the switch key to mower.
DANGER: Rotating blades can cause serious injury. To
prevent serious injury, remove the switch key when the
mower is unattended, or when adjusting, cleaning,
servicing, transporting, lifting, or storing the mower.
