■ Lock the keypad

To lock the keypad to prevent accidental keypresses, in the
standby mode, select Menu, and press * quickly; to unlock,
select Unlock, and press * quickly.
To set the keypad to lock automatically after a preset time
delay when the phone is in the standby mode and no function
of the phone has been used, select Menu > Settings > Phone
settings > Keyguard settings > Automatic keyguard > On. To
set the phone to ask for the security code when you unlock the
keypad, select Keyguard code.
When the keypad lock is on, calls may be possible to the official
emergency number programmed into your device. Enter the
emergency number, and press the call key. The emergency
number you entered may not be displayed on the screen.
