1) INTRODUCTION
The MDT-2244B model is a Photo Tachometer for RPM
measurement, compact, with 5 digits display and easy to
use. Composed by exclusive microprocessor with crystal
time base, to offer the high accuracy measurement and
fast measuring time. Use long life components with light
weight and strong ABS plastic housing, providing excellent
performance, without maintenance for many years. It has
a large measurement range of 2,5 to 100000 RPM and
automatic storage function for maximum and minimum
values, and also for last reading, through "MEM" button.

It is recommended that the user read the safety and ope-
ration instructions before using the instrument.
WARNING
• Never take measurement with the instrument in the
following cases: the tachometer or its accessories are
damaged; after storing the instrument in abnormal
conditions (explosive atmospheres, inflammable gases,
smoke, vapor or dust); or with the instrument opened.
• Never exceed the measurement limits of the instrument.
• The maintenance, parts replacement and calibration
