PRODUCT USAGE
INSERTING AND REMOVING THE FILTER
1.
Inserting the filter:
The filter is located behind the spout inside the Water Kettle. Open the lid. Slide the filter
down into the slot behind the spout, making sure that the curve facing outward on the filter
matches to the curve of the Kettle.

Removing the filter:
Open the lid. Grasp the top of the filter, behind the spout, and pull out to remove.
Before first use, fill the Water Kettle to the maximum level, then boil and discard the water.
NOTE: The Water Kettle is designed for water only. Do not put any other liquids or substances
in the Water Kettle.
HEATING WATER
Press Lid Release Button to open lid. Fill Water Kettle with fresh cold water.

There must be a minimum of 0.25 L to operate.

Push lid down until it locks into place.

Place Water Kettle on the Base.
4.
Slide the Temperature Selector Knob on the Base to the desired setting (50°C-100°C).

Press the Power Button on the side of the Base. The controls will light up and the Water

Kettle will begin to heat.
The Temperature Gauge will rise as the water heats.

NOTE: The Water Kettle will stop automatically once the set temperature is reached. The
heating cycle can also be turned off manually by pressing POWER.
CARE AND CLEANING
CLEANING THE EXTERIOR
IMPORTANT: Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and
before cleaning the appliance.
The exterior of the Water Kettle may be cleaned with a damp cloth. Dry and polish the

Water Kettle with a soft cloth. Abrasives and scouring agents of any kind are not
recommended.
DESCALING THE WATER KETTLE
To get the best performance from your Water Kettle, descaling will be necessary. Limescale
deposits may form on the interior metal parts of the Water Kettle. The cleaning interval will
depend on the hardness of the water you put in the Kettle.
Fill the Water Kettle with white vinegar to the 0.25 L mark. Add water to the 0.75 L mark.

Boil at 100°C and allow to stand overnight.
Empty the solution from the Water Kettle.

Fill the Water Kettle with water, bring to a boil and drain out the water. Repeat this step

twice. The Water Kettle is now ready to use.
