The exact time needed to dry clothes depend on many factors,
the room's temperature, the humidity level, the moisture of the
clothes etc., so there is no standard time since of these variable
factors mentioned above.
When the dehumidifier reaches its set humidity level, the fan
will continue to operate for maximum energy savings. The
unit will better comprehend the relative humidity of the area,
and the compressor is required to operate much less during
the 24-hour period. This applies to models that have been
manufactured after July 2018.
The dehumidifier operates by intaking condensed air removing
any moisture and sending it back in the area it operates. If
you are standing near the dehumidifier while operating you
may feel that the air coming out of the fan is cooler due to the
diffusion. In reality, it is at the same room-temperature but with
less humidity.
The dehumidifier operates for a period of 10 hours under the
Dryer's mode function which is the appropriate period of time
to manage dry clothes and the desired humidity levels. The
dehumidifier will stop operating after 10 hours, in order to
avoid any excessive air dryness that may result in damaging the
clothes.
