6. Maintenance and cleaning
The life of the product is extended and
common problems are reduced, if it is
cleaned regularly.

• Never use gasol ne, benzene or
s m lar substances for clean ng
purposes.
• Never use any sharp and abras ve
tools, soap, household cleaners,
detergent and wax pol sh for
clean ng.
• D ssolve one teaspoon of bak ng soda
n 1 p nt of water. Soak a cloth w th
the solut on and wr ng t thoroughly.
W pe the nter or of the freezer w th
th s cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Make sure that no water enters the
lamp hous ng and other electr cal
tems.
• If you w ll not use the freezer for a
long per od of t me, unplug t, remove
all food ns de, clean t and leave the
door ajar.
• Check regularly that the door gaskets
are clean. If not, clean them.
• To remove door and body shelves,
remove all of ts contents.
• Remove the door shelves by pull ng
them up. After clean ng, sl de them
from top to bottom to nstall.
• Never use clean ng agents or water
that conta n chlor ne to clean the
outer surfaces and chrom um coated
parts of the product. Chlor ne causes
corros on on such metal surfaces

6.1. Avoiding bad odors
Materials that may cause odor are not
used in the production of our freezers.
However, due to inappropriate food
preserving conditions and not cleaning
the inner surface of the freezer as
required can bring forth the problem of
odor . Pay attention to following to avoid
this problem:
• Keep ng the freezer clean s
mportant. Food res duals, sta ns, etc.
can cause odor . Therefore, clean the
freezer w th bak ng soda d ssolved
n water every 15 days. Never use
detergents or soap.
• Keep the food n closed conta ners.
M croorgan sms spread ng out from
uncovered conta ners can cause
unpleasant odors.
• Never keep the food that s past ts
exp rat on date or has spo led n the
freezer.
6.2.Protecting the
plastic surfaces
Do not put l qu d o ls or o l-cooked meals
n your freezer n unsealed conta ners as
they damage the plast c surfaces of the
freezer. If o l s sp lled or smeared onto
the plast c surfaces, clean and r nse the
relevant part of the surface at once w th
warm water.
