MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Disconnect the pneumatic drill from the compressed air
line before performing any maintenance and cleaning
task.
Lubrication
The device must be kept constantly lubricated to ensure the
best performance and to ensure the expected service life.
Greasing should be frequent, but not excessive. Just a few drops
of oil for pneumatic tools after each use are enough. The oil will
lubricate the internal parts.
Lubrication can be carried out automatically by means of an air
filter regulator lubricator fitted in the compressed air system
supplying the appliance or manually if there is no such
component.
If the compressed air system to which the pneumatic drill is
connected does not have an air filter regulator lubricator, carry
out manual lubrication following the procedure given below:
1. Disconnect the appliance from the air hose;
2. Add a few drops of oil, at the air inlet, before each use or
every hour if the appliance is used continuously;
3. Add a few drops of oil to the "ON/OFF" switch (2) and the
forward/reverse lever (3). Press the switch and change the
position of the lever several times to lubricate;
4. Apply a few drops of oil to the chuck (1). Rotate the chuck in
both directions to lubricate.
Use only air tool oil. Other types of lubricants damage the
gaskets.
Air inlet filter cleaning
Clean the air inlet filter regularly according to use.
1. Unscrew and remove the coupling from the air hose (5);
2. Blow with compressed air until the air inlet is completely
clean;
3. Attach the coupling.
