3. Spread the uprights using both hands and step into boot, aligning uprights with
midline of the ankle. Remove protective sheaths on uprights and secure liner. The
uprights may be bent to accommodate any leg contour ( Figure 3) .
4. Secure all bootstraps, starting at the toes and working up the leg. ( Figure 4A).
Note: All straps are removeable and replaceable. The two straps at the ankle joint
may be adapted to accommodate individual patient needs.
Ankle Cross Strap: If Cross Strapping is desired, feed Strap 3 through opposing
forefoot d-ring. Cross Strap 2 over Strap 3, feed through d-ring on opposing
upright and secure ( Figure 4B).
5. The Achilles (Heel strap) should be snug but not too tight. It may also be removed
( Figure 5) .
For Air Liner:
6. To inflate air liner press and release the air bulb several times until liner is
providing comfortable cushion and support. DO NOT OVER INFLATE ( Figure 6) .
7. To release air from the walker liner, press and hold the deflate button and deflate
until pressure is comfortable. Release air if liner feels too tight. Caution: If liner
feels too tight while wearing product, deflate the liner by pressing the deflate
button. Consult your medical professional immediately ( Figure 7) .
8. For removal of walker, unfasten all straps and undo contact closure on liner.
9. For reapplication of walker, follow steps 2, and 4.
10. The soft insole may be trimmed at the heel by using cast scissors if a more open
heeled walker is desired ( Figure 8) .
NOTE: DEFLATE AIRCELLS BEFORE REMOVING BRACE FOR PROPER FIT WHEN
REAPPLYING.
NOTE: HIGHER PRESSURE PROVIDES MORE SUPPORT WHEN WALKING,
LOWER PRESSURE IS MORE COMFORTABLE WHEN SITTING OR RECLINING.
PRESSURE CAN ALSO BE ADJUSTED BY TIGHTENING OR LOOSENING STRAPS.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: To clean liner, hand wash in cold water using mild soap.
Air dry.
NOTE: If not rinsed thoroughly, residual soap may cause irritation and deteriorate
material.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store at ambient conditions until the product is set to
be used.
WARRANTY: DJO, LLC will repair or replace all or part of the unit and its accessories
for material or workmanship defects for a period of six months from the date of sale.
To the extent the terms of this warranty are inconsistent with local regulations, the
provisions of such local regulations will apply.
