ANGLE OF THE SPRAY ON THE CLEANED SURFACE
When water is sprayed onto a surface, the maximum impact force is generated when
the water hits the surface perpendicularly. However, this type of spraying tends to
deposit dirt particles on the surface, thus preventing the desired cleaning
performance.
The optimal angle of spraying water on a surface is 45 degrees.
Figure 7 - Optimum spray angle on the cleaned surface
Spraying water on the surface at this angle provides the most favorable impact force
combined with effective removal of contaminants from the surface.
DISTANCE FROM THE CLEANED SURFACE
Another factor that determines the force of water impact is the distance of the
spraying nozzle from the surface. The force of the impact increases as the nozzle
moves closer to the surface.
HOW TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE SURFACE
Damage to the cleaned surfaces occurs because the impact exceeds the surface
strength. The impact force can be changed by controlling the three previously
