IMPORTANT: if the seal does not hold, you can either increase the
holding time of the clamped bag or increase the sealing temperature
on the dial.
Cutting the bag off too slowly may lead to fraying of the bag or even
unsealing.

Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Cleaning
Pull the mains plug and let the unit cool down completely before cleaning,
adjusting or replacing accessories and when the unit is not in use.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning the surfaces.
c)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
d)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
e)
Make sure that no water enters through the ventilation openings in the casing.
f)
Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and compressed air.
g)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
h)
Do not use sharp and/or metal objects (e.g. a wire brush or metal spatula) for
cleaning, as these may damage the surface of the material from which the unit
is made.
i)
Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical products, thinners, fuel,
oil or other chemicals as this may damage the unit.
3.4.1 Replacing the clamping rail/cutters
First ensure that the machine is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled
down completely. Then use the supplied Allen wrench to unscrew the screws holding
one part of the rail. Remove the rail piece and then the cutter housing and the cutters.
