Pull a suitable length of bag between the heating band and the
pressure bar, taking into account not only the size of the item to be
sealed inside but also the thickness of the seal.
Pull the lever (F) as far as it will go until the bag is tightly clamped
between the pressure rail and the heating band.
Then (after a few seconds) move the cutter with a decisive
movement back and forth along the guide on the rail, cutting off the
sealed piece of bag. Let go of the lever in the starting position so that
the rail and belt are as far apart as possible.
Insert the item through the open, unheated end of the bag and repeat
the sealing process from this side, only this time inserting the piece
from the front of the machine without using the knife.
