To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, injury, or exposure to excessive microwave energy
when using this appliance, follow these basic safety precautions:
1.Read all instructions before using the appliance.
2. Read and heed the "Precautions to Avoid Possible Exposure to Excessive Microwave Energy" as
detailed on page 1.
3. As with other cooking appliances, great care must be taken to reduce the risk of fire inside the
oven cavity.
4.In order to reduce the risk of fire occurring inside the oven cavity:
(i) Do not overcook food. Watch the oven when, in order to facilitate cooking, food is prepared using
paper or plastic or other combustible materials.
(ii) Remove wire bands or metal handles from paper or plastic bags or containers before placing
them inside the oven.
iii) If any material inside the oven catches fire, keep the door closed. Turn off and unplug the
appliance and disconnect the power at the fuse box or main circuit breaker panel.
iv) Do not use the oven cavity for storage. Do not leave paper goods, cooking utensils or food inside
the oven when it is not in use.
5. This appliance must be grounded. Plug it only into a properly grounded outlet. See "Grounding
Instructions" on page 4.
6.Install and locate this oven only in accordance with the installation instructions in this manual.
7. Some products such as whole eggs and hermetically sealed containers, e.g. glass jars, may
explode and should not be heated in this oven.
8. Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. Do not use corrosive
chemicals or other substances with this appliance. This oven is designed specifically for heating,
cooking, or drying food. It is not designed for industrial or laboratory use.
9. As with any other appliance, care should be exercised when the appliance is used by children.
10. Do not use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged, if it is not working properly, or if it has
been damaged or dropped in any way.
11. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Contact the nearest authorized service center
for repair or adjustment.
12.Do not cover or obstruct the oven openings.
13.Do not store or use this appliance outdoors.
