14. Do not use this oven near water, for example near a kitchen sink, in a very damp basement, near
a swimming pool or other similar locations.
15.Do not immerse the cord or plug in water.
16. Keep the cord away from any hot surfaces.
17. Do not allow cord to hang over the edge of the kitchen table or countertop.
18. When cleaning door and oven surfaces that come in contact with the door latch, use a
non-abrasive type of soap or detergent applied with a sponge to a soft cloth.
19. Liquids such as water, coffee or tea may overheat beyond the boiling point without appearing to
boil. Visible bubbling or boiling of a container when it is removed from the microwave oven is not
always present.
THIS COULD CAUSE A HOT LIQUID TO SUDDENLY BREAK THE BOIL WHEN A MOVEMENT IS
MADE OR A SPOON OR OTHER UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID.
i) Do not overheat liquids.
ii)Remove the liquid before and in the middle of the heating process.
iii)Do not use containers or containers with vertical sides with narrow necks.
iv)After heating, let the container rest in the microwave oven for a short period of time before
removing it.
v) Use extreme care when inserting a spoon or any other utensil into the container.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER
Electric shock hazard Serious injury or death could result if any of the oven's internal components
are touched. Do not disassemble the appliance.
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of a short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric
shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance has a cord with a grounding
wire and a grounding plug. This type of plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed
and grounded.
WARNING
Electric shock hazard. Improper use of the grounding system could result in electric shock. Do not
plug in the appliance until it is properly installed and grounded.
Three-prong plug
(with grounded outlet)
Check with a qualified electrician or serviceman for grounding instructions if you do
not fully understand them or if you have any doubt as to whether your appliance is
properly grounded. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use a 3-wire cord
having a 3-prong plug with a 3-slot receptacle into which the appliance plug can be
plugged. The electrical resistance of the extension cord should be equal to or
greater than the electrical resistance of the appliance.
